Russell has been drawing his entire life and has been working as a professional comic book color artist since 2011. He colored titles such as Hack/Slash for Image Comics and Judge Dredd for IDW/2000AD. Other credits include In the Dark: A Horror Anthology and Imaginary Drugs for IDW, Critical Hit covers for Black Mask Studios, and many other independent and small press projects.

You'll see his colors in the Nailbiter-Hack/Slash crossover one-shot coming in March 2015. He also runs a Photoshop coloring tutorial channel on YouTube and teaches a comprehensive online comic book coloring course that he launched in the summer of 2014.

He lives in Long Beach, Mississippi, with his wife of eleven years, Tina. They have two cats - Aramis and Jaffa.
