Pensacon Short Film Festival - US Showcase

US Showcase films will compete for three awards:

• Best in Show (determined by Pensacon staff)
• Jury Award (presented from a special jury consisting of celebrity guests of Pensacon)
• Audience Award (voted on by audience members during the screening)

Awards will be provided by Avid, Borrow Lenses, Red Giant, Write Brothers, and The Crystal Zebra.

After the screening, filmmakers will take part in a Q&A session and then be presented with the awards. Winning filmmakers are invited to participate in the Independent Filmmaking Panel on Sunday.

The following films will be screened at the US Showcase:

Pensacon Short Film Festival - International Showcase
The Pensacon Short Film Festival has expanded this year. We received so many great submissions from outside the United States that we are doing a special screening of these films including:
  • "Awakenings" directed by Bhargav Saikia (India)
  • "Chronicles of the Source" directed by Sebastien Chauvel (France)
  • "reStart" directed by Olga Osorio (Spain)
  • "The Stranger" directed by Olivier Polia (France)
  • "This Is Joe" directed by Francis Diaz Fontan (Spain)
  • "Willa" directed by Helena Hufnagel (Germany)

We will be giving one of these films the International Best in Show Award.
