The Pensacola State College Planentarium is hosting a night viewing of celestial bodies after dark using their telescopes. A waxing crescent moon and Jupiter would be up after 8:00 PM. Bright constellations such as Orion, Gemini, Taurus, and Auriga as well as the star clusters and nebula located in these constellations can be seen.
They will have handouts of star charts, membership information and our gaze schedule for the summer programs we hold on Pensacola Beach, at Ft Pickens and at Big Lagoon State Park.
Take the trolley to Fish House and walk next door to Bartram Park to join this fascinating glimpse of our galaxy.
